Pricing

Monthly rates, resolved while you wait.

Rivet the jackdaw stands at a night-shift telephone switchboard. The price cord is plugged into his brass washer, which he has pressed into an empty jack, and the rate board reads $0 for every plan.

A short silent scene, about seven seconds, then Rivet idles.

Every plan resolves to $0.

dnsweaver is free and MIT-licensed. There is no paid tier, no per-record charge and no hosted service to sign up for. All three plans are the same single binary: it reads hostnames from your containers, VMs and clusters and keeps matching records in your DNS providers.

  • Homelab

    $0 per month

A Docker host, a Traefik label and your own resolver.

  • Cluster

    $0 per month

Kubernetes, Proxmox and Incus records from one binary.

  • Fleet

    $0 per month

Split-horizon records from the same labels, internal and public.

Why it costs nothing

I build these tools with a lot of help from AI, for my own homelab first. Sharing what comes out of that freely feels like the right way to pass it along. Paid software and the people who make it are worth paying for; this is my choice for these projects.

If you want to help anyway

Support is optional and goes to ProbablyFine, the home for my free projects. It helps cover the costs of publishing them, starting with code signing. It does not buy features, priority support or a say in the roadmap.

Free ways to help are just as welcome:

  • Tell someone who still creates DNS records by hand.
  • Report a bug you can reproduce.
  • Improve the docs or send a fix.
